Stay & Train is an intensive handler training experience, designed to help owners develop their handling skills and confidence alongside their dog over several consecutive days.

Unlike one-to-one training, where progress builds gradually with time to practice between lessons, or residential training, where dogs receive multiple sessions per day over 2–4 weeks,

Stay & Train cannot be compared in terms of training progress. Instead, the focus is on introducing the basics of new cues, refining handling techniques, and coaching owners through challenges on walks and in real-world settings.

This programme is ideal for:
✔ Focusing on a few key problem areas, with something different covered each day (with owners making progress afterwards over several months)
✔ Helping owners apply training in real-life scenarios with expert guidance.
✔ Supporting the transition after a residential stay, ensuring owners feel confident continuing their dog’s training at home.

Important Booking Requirements:

🐾 Dogs must be food motivated—without this, effective training won’t be possible. A residential stay beforehand will need to be considered to build food motivation first
🐾 For bigger behavioural challenges, such as reactivity, a residential stay first is recommended to build initial progress before focusing on handler coaching.

Stay & Train is a great way to learn the foundations of new skills, refine your handling, and work through on-lead challenges, but for long-term training progress, ongoing practice and follow-up support will still be needed!
