Welcome to Adolescent Dogs News page.
Adolescent Dogs was recently featured in the Southern Gazette. See below for the article.
Save Our Sunny
This little chap (see below) had more than 4 homes before he was 12 weeks old! Well, he was a handful, to say the least!! Until…he found himself accidentally meeting Tracy, who decided to adopt him. Tracy was determined Sunny would stay in her home, but some of his habits she simply couldn't live with. If he didn't settle down she'd have to admit defeat and begrudgingly give him up for re-homing.
We met him when he joined us for The Adolescent Dogs "Urban Dogz" course. A perfect opportunity for Sunny to get some much needed life experiences! Crowds of people, lifts, buggies, stairs, trains, pigeons and more were all taken in his stride and he can even walk nicely on the lead too!
Next, Tracy decided they might benefit from joining the beginner's course. They both worked hard and practised all the new exercises they were learning every week. The hard work paid off and Sunny passed the course with ease. He was growing up to be quite the model citizen (in canine terms) and as they've both had such fun with Adolescent Dogs they can be found doing the Improvers course for more fun and games!
Sometimes they join us on the walking group to have a good run around with other dogs, whilst learning how to come back when called.
Sunny has his paws well and truly under the table at Tracy's house! She says "dog training is an absolute must for all dog owners. It's been great fun and very rewarding to have an obedient dog."
Now all Sunny needs is to join one of our Pool Parties and he'll have a full set of Adolescent Dogs courses under his collar!

Adolescent Dogs will be at the Cold Wet Nose Show in Guildford on Saturday 12th July. Why don't you come down and have a chat with us and bring your dog along for a bit of fun!
We have now launched a Puppy Walking Group session as an extension of our usual Walking Group. This group takes into account that puppy's just can't walk as far as adult dogs! So if your puppy is under 6 months and you'd like to mix him with other puppy's and gain some confidence letting him off the lead for the first time, join our puppy walk on Sundays 5.30pm-6.15pm.
New Residential Dog Training Courses available now. We do the training, you do the handling. Intensive courses where we train your dog for you quickly and efficiently. No Kennels, No stress. We will collect and drop off your dog to you every day for the duration of the course to minimise stress levels for both dog and owner. !
We now have a new Customer Feedback page. Please leave us some feedback to help us improve our services!
The launch of our new Pupz in Pubz session has taken off to a great start! We enjoyed a one hour session at the local pub with some of our students: Kaos, Monty, Georgie and Daisy. The weather was great which helped and everyone enjoyed their free drink! Oh, and all the dogs learnt how to settle in the pub quietly! So an all round success!
The launch of our first K9 Pool Party session of 2008 has taken off to a great start! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the swim and the owners dived in too! Many are scheduled to come back to the next one on the 19th June, but don't worry, we still have a couple of spaces! The weathers great and its an indoor, fully heated swimming pool. So whats stopping you?
